A workshop for Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists
Do you work with clients with neurological conditions? Do you want to optimise their motor recovery and function? This workshop will hone your skills and ability using NMES to augment different motor functions, reduce swelling and spasticity, and support task specific training.

- Understanding neuromuscular electrical stim (NMES) – terminology, application,indications and contra-indications
- Overview of therapeutic NMES interventions in neurological rehabilitation (UL&LL)
- Evidence for the application of NMES in neurological rehabilitation
- Device demonstration and application practice
- Designing and implementing NMES programs
