Sue and Shannon lead a passionate and specialised team, with extensive experience in the field of neurology rehabilitation. Our team are a dedicated group of experts with specific skills in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, therapy assistance and support work. We have worked across the spectrum of acute, inpatient, outpatient and community services in both Australia and the United Kingdom. As well as being clinicians, we also have a significant amount of experience in the areas of education, training and management.
Sue Winnall
Sue is extremely passionate about inspiring and helping people to gain the skills they need to be the best they can be.
Sue Winnall has worked as an Occupational Therapist for over 20 years. She has specialised in the field of Neurology, primarily in the field of stroke and head injuries – working across the spectrum of acute, inpatient rehabilitation, community rehabilitation and outpatient services across Perth and the United Kingdom.
In the UK Sue was a clinical specialist in stroke and a rehabilitation lead for the stroke network in North East London. She chaired the UK College of OT Stroke forum committee and was on the executive committee for the College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section of Neurological Practice. She was a guest speaker and trainer across the UK for the commissioning of stroke and rehabilitation services during the launch of the stroke strategy.
Sue has worked with and trained hundreds of occupational therapists, who have gone on to utilise the skills and knowledge they have learned from Sue to make a difference to peoples’ lives. It is this dedication that Sue brings to her clinical work with clients, that means she can effortlessly form connections and harness the potential they have. It is Sue’s genuine drive to help people live the best lives they can live, and be the best they can be.

Shannon Williams
Shannon is dedicated and driven to promote, teach and implement the use of evidence-based practice and research to ensure that people are receiving the highest quality therapy they can possibly receive.
Shannon Williams is a Senior Physiotherapist of over 20 years, who has specialised in Neurology and is an Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) titled member in neurology. She has worked in a wide variety of speciality areas including stroke, head injury, spinal and neurogenetic conditions in inpatient, outpatient and community settings across Australia and the UK.
Shannon has a Master’s Degree in Neurorehabilitation (MNR) and has a Postgraduate in education. Shannon has lectured in neurology and has been involved in education of physio students for many years, including being an Australian Physiotherapy Council student mentor.
Shannon has been involved in several research projects namely: Electrical Stimulation for Stroke Recovery, Simulation for Examination and Learning, Huntington’s Disease and Falls, and Balance Deficits in the CMT (Charcot-Marie Tooth) population. She is currently principal investigator of the WA branch of a national study in Ataxia management, which is linked with Monash University.
As well her extensive research and teaching, Shannon also applies her specialised skills and passion to providing rehabilitation and therapy to people with neurological conditions. Shannon is authentic, thorough and extremely efficient in her approach which helps people to progress in their skills and ability, to reach the goals that are meaningful to them. Shannon provides individualised one-on-one therapy in the home environment for people with neurological conditions.
