Rehabilitation of the Neurological Upper Limb (Intermediate)

This is a one-day intermediate course focussing on facilitation of the upper limb. It is suitable for people who have attended the ‘Preparation of the upper limb for function’ course or those who have experience with people with neurological conditions. It will provide further opportunities to learn and practice more advanced assessment and intervention techniques for the upper limb.

This course will focus on the assessment and treatment of the shoulder complex, specifically addressing high and low tone and the secondary consequences of these.  It will provide further development of observation and assessment skills, along with practical handling skills and treatment ideas.
