We travel to you and provide therapy in a client’s home or in the community as required, and tailor all therapy to a client’s goals and current difficulties.
We are registered with NDIS and able to provide assessments and ongoing therapy to build a person’s capacity and meet their self-care, mobility, work and leisure goals.
We have expertise in providing rehab to address the multiple different skill areas a neurological condition can affect, including:
- Cognitive difficulties including attention, memory, and thinking skills and generalised brain fog
- Vestibular issues
- Visual perceptual difficulties including recognition and, interaction with the environment and visual spatial skills
- Physical difficulties including upper and lower limb weakness and sensory loss, ataxia, and balance
We can work with you to improve your independence and reach your goals by harnessing neuroplasticity to improve the skills that have been affected and/or by compensating for difficulties to allow each individual to be able to engage in their daily life to the best of their ability.
The journey of recovery is very much a team approach, including the individual, their family and friends, their support workers, colleagues and their therapy team. Therefore, we can also complete functional training and education for family members, friends and carers/support workers to build up and practice daily living skills.
